How to plan a gallery wall
- Pick a starting piece. Choose your largest or favourite print and build around it, in the middle or slightly off centre.
- Mix sizes but keep a theme. A shared colour, style or frame colour holds a wall together. Our colour pages and collections are a good place to start.
- Plan before you drill. Cut paper templates the size of each frame, tape them to the wall, and move them around until it feels right.
- Keep gaps consistent. 5–8 cm between frames looks tidy. Even gaps matter more than a perfect grid.
- Hang from the centre out. Hang the middle piece first, at about eye level, then work outwards.
Easy starting layouts
- Grid: four or six prints of the same size in rows. Calm and modern.
- Salon style: mixed sizes clustered around a centre line. Relaxed and personal.
- Shelf: lean prints on a picture ledge so you can swap them around.
